Why Color?

You ask why so much emphasis on color. What is the big deal?

The question I would ask is why not? Can you and I get around color? Is there a way to secretly hide from color? The answer is no. Color is everywhere.

Think about this - if you look in the mirror you probably selected clothing based on color. Because color is always visible, we tend to ignore its presence and not see the importance it plays within our lives. In order words it becomes common.

The earth as we know it today before creation was void and without form – there was nothing. I understand it’s hard to imagine this but when there was absolutely nothing – darkness literally filled all space.

But the one and only true God, Master and Chief Architect, light of the world spoke into existence what we experience now in full color. He is a God of color!

On bright days we gaze into the blue sunny skies, it brings a smile to our face. The oceans, and seas in the brilliant color of turquoise has a mesmerizing affect evoking calmness, trees that sway in the summer breeze clothed with green leaves and hanging colorful fruit, and as the sun goes to rest the black night skies emerge with dancing twinkling white stars.

Oh, my friend color is everywhere.

Appreciate what it brings into your life and how it intermingles. When your days are sunny and happy be thankful for the colors red, blue, white, orange, green, yellow, purple and in the days of sadness and bleak times recognize the colors black, grey, brown.

As we open our eyes to the power of color, let’s learn to exchange and explore color as we journey through the path of life allowing it energizes and bloom within our lives.
